Directions
Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church is located at 390 Thames Street (on the corner of Lower Thames & Brewer Streets) right in the middle of downtown Newport. It is the yellow brick church on the left. Click here or “More options” on the map to get directions to St Spyridon.
Parking
Visitors may park in the church parking lot while attending services. The lot is on the opposite side of Brewer Street which has its entrance just before the church. This lot is a pay and park lot during other times.
Street parking is also available around the church during the day and requires a residential parking sticker at night. Metered parking on Thames Street is in effect from 9am – 9pm daily from May 1st – October 31st. You may park in the meters without paying from November 1st – April 30th.
There is a parking lot behind the library at the top of Brewer Street on Spring Street. The library lot is a city lot and you can park there for three hours during the day.
